MCA STCW
54 North Maritime Training provides an extensive selection of MCA STCW, safety, and security courses catering to the needs of seafarers. Our offerings include mandatory training programs as well as specialised courses aimed at enhancing safety and security competencies.
Under STCW, all new entrants joining the maritime industry are required to complete the STCW basic safety courses before joining a vessel.
These are made up of the following courses,
- Personal Survival Techniques (PST)
- Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF) – (currently not available at 54 North Maritime Training)
- Elementary First Aid (EFA)
- Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA)
- Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR)
These courses can be taken individually or can be taken together.
NOTE: Selecting anyone of the courses will allow you to complete our online booking form. There will be an opportunity to add further courses as you fill in the form.
